A unique handmade shirt based around a fantastic "Spice Trade" themed teatowel. The teatowel features fantastic graphic images depicting the spice trade such as temples, tigers and various plants in a palette of teal, gold and green with highlights of tomato red and purple contrasts. A vintage daisy print bedsheet (in perfect condition), has been used for the other front panel, the collar and back of the garment, with an oversized graphic daisy-print border providing the perfect garment edging. The crisp cotton sheeting has been used to create both facings and the collar. A vintage barkcloth fabric remnant has been used for one sleeve and part of a vintage tablecloth for the other in browns and orange echoing the palette of the teatowel.
